What Barkat reports show
The dashboard opens with today's sales, cash today, sales over the last 30 days and the udhaar you are owed, plus low stock and the customers who owe you the most.
Reports cover today, the last 7 days, the last 30 days or this year. Pharmacy reports show revenue, gross profit from each batch's cost, margin and your top products. General Trade reports show sales, purchases, an estimated profit at current cost, payments in and out, returns, item-wise sales and a stock summary. The day book shows each day's cash in and out.

Reports questions
Does Barkat show profit after expenses?Kharche ke baad munafa dikhata hai?
Not yet. Reports show gross profit: sales minus the cost of what you sold. Expenses are recorded separately in the expenses list and the day book.
How is profit worked out?Munafa kaise nikalta hai?
In the Pharmacy edition, from the cost of each batch you sold. In General Trade, Barkat estimates it from each item's current purchase price.
Can I download my data?Data download ho sakta hai?
Yes. The owner can download all shop data as spreadsheet files (CSV) that open in Excel.
Can my staff see reports?Staff reports dekh sakta hai?
Owners, managers and viewers can open Reports. Cashiers cannot, though their dashboard shows today's and 30-day sales.
Is there a daily summary?Roz ka hisaab milta hai?
Yes. The day book shows each day's cash in, cash out and net, and you can share the summary on WhatsApp in one tap.
