What is kiryana store billing software?
It is software that replaces the paper bill book and khata register: you bill customers at the counter, stock goes down automatically, every customer's and supplier's balance updates itself, and you get daily sales totals and an estimated profit in reports without adding anything by hand.

Can I keep an udhaar khata for customers and suppliers?
Yes. Every party has a full ledger of bills, payments and adjustments with a running balance, and you can send a WhatsApp reminder to anyone who owes you money.
Does Barkat handle sale orders and delivery challans?
Yes. You can raise sale orders, delivery challans and purchase orders as separate documents and convert them into invoices, so goods that have gone out but aren't yet billed are still tracked.
Can I manage cash, bank accounts and cheques?
Yes. Cash in hand, multiple bank accounts, cheques received and issued, transfers between accounts and loan accounts all live in one Cash & Bank screen that reconciles against your sales and expenses.
Can I bill when the internet is down?
Not yet. The Barkat offline desktop app works for the Pharmacy edition only for now. General Trade billing needs an internet connection.
Can I control what my staff can see?
Yes. Each staff member gets a role: owner, manager, cashier or viewer. A cashier can make bills but cannot open the Reports, Expenses or party ledger screens, and staff actions are written to an audit log.
Can I sell one item in cartons and pieces?
Yes. Give the item a second unit, such as a carton of 12 pieces. You can then buy or sell in either unit and the stock stays correct.
Does it work with a barcode scanner?
Yes. Scan barcodes on the counter screen, or search items by name.
Can I add my items in one go?
Yes. Download our CSV template, fill in your items (Excel can save a sheet as CSV) and upload it.
