How Barkat keeps your stock right
Every sale, return and purchase changes stock by itself, so the number on screen matches the shelf. Set a low-stock level for each item and Barkat flags it when stock falls below.
Pharmacy stock is kept by batch, each with its own expiry date, cost and sale price, and the expiry screen groups batches by how soon they expire. General Trade items can have two units, like a carton of 12 pieces, and every in and out is listed in the item's history with a running balance.

Inventory questions
Can I import my stock?Stock import ho sakta hai?
Yes. Fill in our CSV template and upload it. Excel can save a sheet as CSV.
Can I sell in kg or metres?Kg ya meter mein bech sakte hain?
Yes, in General Trade. Quantities can have up to three decimals, units include kg, grams, litres and metres, and you can add your own units.
Does it warn me before medicine expires?Expiry se pehle pata chalega?
Yes. The expiry screen shows batches that have expired, expire within 30 days, or within 1–3, 3–6, 6–9 or 9–12 months.
What if the stock count goes wrong?Stock ghalat ho jaye to?
In General Trade, use Add or Reduce stock with a note, and the item history shows every change so you can see where it went wrong.
Can I sell an item that shows zero stock?Zero stock wali cheez bech sakte hain?
In General Trade, yes: Barkat warns you but lets the sale go through. The Pharmacy counter sells from the batches you have in stock.
